“In the melody of the water”

 Ecopath “Beli Iskar” is a magical place located in the border of National Park “Rila”.

The path is long 7 kilometers along the river Beli Iskar and the duration to cover the distance it is about 3 hours. The object itself has 19 wooden bridges (8 large and 11 small) crossing the strips of the beautiful river. As exactly that became a symbol and a distinctive scar of the ecotrail compared to the others in Bulgaria.

The feeling to walk around the nature of the majestic Rila Mountain and being surrounded by the beautiful melody of the river, contributes to a true and pure harmonious experience with yourself. Visiting this place I faced with incredible forests of the mountains and their natural smell, and a rich fauna belonging to this territory.

The eco-trail is located between two parts of Rila: Central and Musala share, that contribute largely to the rich biodiversity. The beginning of the trail starts from the village of Beli Iskar, located at 1215 meters above sea level and its highest point is 1528 meters, where it’s built terrace. From this terrace you can see the tributaries of the river Beli Iskar, whose names bear the valleys in the area.

When passing through the major bridges along the trail leads to shelters, equipped with benches and a place for recreation. Around the bridges themselves are placed information boards that tell interesting information about the territory and for the different elements of nature that can be seen along the trail.

Useful information:
Ecopath “Beli Iskar” is suitable for an escape from the urban environment when you want to go somewhere nearby and have only one day available. Located just 70 km from Sofia and 9 km from the town of Samokov;
At the beginning of the trail there is a parking places where you can leave your car;
The trail is suitable and equipped with special seats for the disabled;
The place is suitable for a family walk and to enrich your senses to the unique nature which possess in Bulgaria;
Visiting trail “Beli Iskar” you will receive unforgettable meditation experience for the mind and body;

Living the Ancient Greek way | Series two Let’s Living the Ancient Greek way | Series two

Let’s be honest, living during the ancient times of Greece was probably cool.

They had so many different and creative crafts that most of them we can witness until nowadays.

A good example for this is the new museum of the Acropolis. A modern building representing the exactly same proportions of the Parthenonas.

In the museum you can see fundamental artefacts picturing the believes and life from ancient times.

But probably the best part for me was the chance to see by myself all the perfect details crafted on different surfaces.
